Tom Brady (New England Patriots) Round 7 ADP

Brady is the first fantasy passer off of draft boards come round seven in standard 12-team leagues, which should be a good indicator of how his value is being perceived. Needless to say, he’s vastly underrated. It’s true that his numbers dropped quite a bit in 2013, but when you take away over 70% of a guy’s receiver targets and Aaron Hernandez goes to jail and Rob Gronkowski and Shane Vereen both miss half the year, you’re going to have trouble.

Despite not having anyone to throw to for at least 50% of the year, and also having to depend on free agent bust Danny Amendola, Brady still put up 25 touchdowns to just 11 picks, along with 4,300+ passing yards.

Yes, that was a downer. But if Brady gets his guys back (Vereen, Gronk and Amendola will all be healthy or close to it by week one) and his younger weapons can mature (Aaron Dobson and Kenbrell Thompkins) he should be in for a huge bounce back year. In the seventh round, that has to be a risk you’re willing to take.
