Giants Nation: Got your Odell Beckham Jr. Jersey Yet?

Odell Beckham Jr. Jersey?

Our first look at the Jersey came back in May, when one of the many Dan’s that covers the Giants tweeted out this image:

This is what Odell Beckham looks in the full Giants BATTLE ARMOR, next to more Giants:

Did yours come in the mail yet, Giants Nation? It did for @doylee_33, who as you can see from his profile picture, needed a shirt anyway. Check out their tweet:

People love their new NFL jerseys, here’s one from @s_feinste, it “that new new dooe“, apparently:

Our new Twitter follower, Amanda (@caparsoa)  also posted here OBJerz:

Today, we just followed @dougrovello, who didn’t forget this important idea — that football is right around the corner. In fact, training camp is underway and the Hall of Fame game is in nine days. But first, let’s take a look at DJ2’s… OBJ13:

Now, this day in Giants history may not be the best day to don your new OBJerz, as Odell Beckham didn’t participate for the third straight practice due to a minor hamstring injury. Are you concerned? Tom Coughlin was pissed about it yesterday in this piece:

Tom Coughlin was “pissed off” after first Giants practice

Our staff writer, James Pennisi (@bigbluebloggers) was on the case today on Twitter, posting these thoughts:

This kind of news may not be good for Tom Coughlin’s rage meter or your jersey. That said, OBJ is one of the finest athletes in the world today, with an incredible background in track and field. This is a player that should know how to handle his body and hamstring. Yet, a lingering issue is an lingering and in no way can this news be considered good… but it’s hard to call it bad either. It’s just football where minor tweaks and twinges happen. And football is back.

Feel free to go get your jersey now, or to simply curl up in the new one and hope for healthy hamstrings on your first round pick. If one of your OBJ jersey gets so much as an out-of-place string, whatever you do, don’t pull it, it could be directly connected to number 13’s hamstring and no one needs that kind of omen. Hug those jerseys tight, Giants Nation.

Injury threats to your season are very real.
