New York Giants WIN Opener

Last night was the first Sunday Night Football edition of the NFL season, and for the New York Giants alike. It was also the annual Hall of Fame game. At GMEN HQ, we’ve been counting down to that game for over a month. Now the contest between the Buffalo Bills and the New York Giants has came and went with the G-Men as the victors.

How are you feeling about that preseason opening W, Giants Nation?

After all, last season was a rough year. Eli Manning threw a ton of interceptions and the team was equally inept at securing the football concerning the fumble issue. Yesterday brought back images of those troubles when Eli Manning coughed up the ball to the Bills early:

As you can see, the memes have already begun. But this is something Eli Manning will always deal with, even in his best years. The man is just an easy target and when his play on the field produces moments that match his bumbling image, it makes for some defensive Giants fans. No matter the Internet memes, the Giants won. Ryan Nassib threw a long bomb touchdown, Andre Williams looked to have talent carrying the rock that might translate to the NFL. Yet, It’s just the preseason and there was a lot to dislike about the New York Football Giants performance.

Just ask Monday Morning Twitter:

Giants Nation, what’s your GIANT prediction for 2014?
