Well, it looks like William Watts has an answer to the big question he posed yesterday, Will Corey Washington Make the Final 53-man roster?

Two hours ago, the man himself, announced on twitter:

Based on the reactions we saw to William’s post yesterday over on our official @GMENHQ twitter account, Giants fans will be able to breathe easy today knowing Washington has made the cut.

Washington, a UDFA out of Newberry College, burst on the scene this pre-season hauling in 10 catches for 155 yards and 4 touchdowns. At 6’4, 214 lbs the Corey  gives the Giants a big, tall receiver to use in redzone situations. It will be interesting to see if Washington, who usually didn’t play until the second half of games with the third teamers, will eventually be able to see playing time during the regular season.

To find out some more about Corey Washington, and who he reminds me of, be sure to check out this post I put together a week ago.

Oh, and on behalf of Giants nation, congratulations Corey Washington!
