Giants Nation: Predict The Giants Record

facebooktwitterreddit

Giants Nation, we want to hear what you think the Giants will accomplish this season. Please be sure to vote in the poll below. Here is my take.

When I look at the New York Giants I see two possible scenarios for the 2015 season. Wanting to look on the bright side I see the arsenal of weapons Eli Manning has at his disposal. I see the potential for an offense that was even more explosive than in 2014 when it had the seventh ranked passing game in the NFL. That is the part of the Giants that we want to see and that is the part that gives us hope.

I also see a lot of things to worry about for this Giants team. I see a team that has a lot of youth and inexperience at key positions. I see Ereck Flowers starting as a rookie at the left tackle position. I see Weston Richburg starting at the center position in just his second season. I see a secondary with potential to be either really bad or surprisingly good.

In that secondary position battles still remain wide open. Out of the equation are Bennett Jackson and Mykkele Thompson who suffered season ending injuries in preseason action. The Giants battle at the safety positions remains as undecided as it was before. This is especially true in light of the news that Nat Berhe will be out for the entire season.

The Giants have problems all over the roster. The offensive line is a concern. The running game is a concern. The linebackers and secondary are a concern. The Giants have a lot to prove going into the season, that is for sure.

The Giants have a great deal of talent. Though much of the talent is in the passing game and the area of rushing the passer. The team as a whole leaves a lot to be desired. I think that the Giants will fall somewhere in between complete glory and complete disaster. Give me an 8-8 record for the Giants as my final prediction before the season.
