Well it hasn’t been a very good preseason for the New York Giants thus far. The starters work in the preseason is done; hopefully the injuries are too. Their dress rehearsal was disappointing to say the very least. In what was a stone throw away from a disaster the Giants were beaten by the Jets from the beginning to the end. The fourth preseason game is for the young players trying to make the opening day roster.

To steal the line from the former coach of the Arizona Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings, the Giants are who we thought they were. The Giants defensive line is playing awfully against the run-outside contain is Greek to these defenders.

We have learned three things about the Giants this preseason that projects how they will fair in the regular season. Too be fair the preseason is the most over analyzed thing in sports not called Deflate Gate. The problem is that the Giants preseason struggles just looks like a continuation of last year’s struggles. When you look at this Giants team there are three things that stick out like a sour thumb. We will begin our conversation with the defense.
