The day after a tough defeat is the hardest. The day after losing a game that might cost you a playoff spot is even harder.
The Giants are in trouble. With the Saints pulling off a win yesterday there is no guarantee in the NFC Wild Card race unless the Giants win one of the last two games. And it has to be done against Buffalo because I am pretty sure the G-Men don’t want to be playing for their season in 13 days against the Patriots in Week 17. If the Giants can’t win against the Bills the Giants will most likely no longer control their own playoff destiny and will need losses from other NFC teams.
In the News:
The Giants lost Jeremy Shockey and now have to wait another week to clinch a playoff berth.
New York has been awful at home, losing three straight at Giants Stadium.
It was the dropped passes that did the Giants in against Washington.
With a broken fibula requiring surgery, Jeremy Shockey’s season is over.
