Bradshaw Will Not Be Suspended

For the Giants, the news is good. The NFL Network reported (hmmm, there they are again) earlier this morning that Ahmad Bradshaw will not be suspended for the unknown offense.

"There will be “no suspension or fine because the conduct occurred prior to his NFL career. However, his prior history would be taken into account if there are any further incidents,” NFL spokesperson Greg Aiello confirmed via e-mail on Thursday."

Good news for the Giants, who were squirming at the possibility they may not have the little spark plug in their backfield next season. Unfortunately, the news wasn’t all so good for Bradshaw:

"[N]ew revelations surfaced about Bradshaw’s incarceration, including the heretofore unknown assertion that he must serve another 30-day sentence following the season. That came as news to the Giants."

NOT good. Hopefully, Bradshaw can stay in solid shape while in the slammer. Jamal Lewis definitely lost a step during his incarceration, and the Giants can’t afford for Bradshaw to do likewise. Anyone want to plan a prison break?
