Eli Month By Month
By Staff
I heard a comment on TV that Peyton Manning’s loss to the Bears yesterday was the first loss for Peyton and the Colts in September since Thursday, September 9th, 2004 when the Colts lost at New England, 27-24.
So, this got me thinking. How has Eli Manning played in the month of September in his career or for every month for that matter since he took over the starting job towards the end of the 2004 season.
SEPTEMBER: 6-5 (.545)
OCTOBER: 11-1 (.912)
NOVEMBER: 4-9 (.308)
DECEMBER: 9-10 (.474)
JANUARY: 4-2 (.667)
FEBRUARY: 1-0 (1.000)
CAREER: 35-27 (.565)
Eli sure has been dominant in October going 11-1. The Giants last October loss came on October 16th, 2005 at Dallas in a 16-13 OT loss. It would be nice for Eli to improve on his November record and this season the Giants have Dallas, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Arizona, and Washington in November.
His February record looks pretty good.
