And sure enough, Jacobs has been all over the map with his emotions the past six days. First, he told ESPNNewYork.com that the NFL was a “backstabbing” business following last Thursday’s preseason finale against the Patriots. Those comments earned him a little visit with Coughlin.On Monday, Jacobs told the Star-Ledger that he was “happy” and ready for the season to begin. But two days later, he stormed out of the locker room after asking a reporter if he thought he was “stupid.” It sounds like Jacobs is letting his pride get the best of him."
