"The Giants added depth at tight end Tuesday when they signed Bear Pascoe to the active roster from the the practice squad, but they let go of former fourth-round pick Bryan Kehl in a corresponding move. Kehl, a linebackers and special teams player, spent the past two seasons with the team.Pascoe, who played with the Giants for four games in 2009, becomes the third tight end on the active roster. Top tight end Kevin Boss suffered a concussion in Sunday’s win over the Carolina Panthers, and there is not yet a timetable on his return. Pascoe received an extended reps during training camp when he was the only healthy tight end on the roster.Kehl tied for the team lead in special teams tackles last season. He finishes his Giants career with 32 defensive tackles and interception. However, he appeared responsible for the blocked punt against the Panthers. Coughlin did not mention Kehl on Monday, but he was frustrated by the play.“We had no business getting a punt blocked,” Coughlin said. “There was a six-man rush. There was a breakdown up front, it wasn’t complicated, we turned a guy loose. You never turn a guy loose. We did. That’s really difficult to understand. It’s embarrassing, to be honest with you. It should never have happened so I do not expect that sound to ever occur again.”"
