"There are some who have indicated on various web sites following the Giants that on the play where Bradshaw was called for a chop block, Koets should have been called for a face mask instead.I would point out that Koets did not “yank, twist, turn or pull” the face mask of the Titans Defensive Tackle and, as such, under the rule put in last year, he did not commit a foul. The only foul was for the chop block.I would also point out that the contact by the second offensive player cannot be “at the thigh or lower.” There are those who wrongly believe that the block must be below the knee to be called."
