"On Sunday night, Ahmad Bradshaw ended the Giants’ nearly year-long drought without a 100-yard rusher. And for his efforts he has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week.Bradshaw rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries in the Giants’ 17-3 win over the Chicago Bears, and he won the award despite a terrible fumble on what would’ve been a 36-yard touchdown run. He turned back on the play at the last minute and was stripped from behind, though it turned out the play wasn’t costly.Bradshaw is the first player on the Giants to win the Offensive Player of the Week award since Derrick Ward did it in Week 16 of the 2008 season when he rushed for 215 yards on 15 carries in an overtime, NFC-clinching win over Carolina. The last Giants player to win any weekly award was Domenik Hixon, who was the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week in Week 13 last year."
