Bradshaw To Practice Tomorrow

"EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw did not practice for the second straight day on Thursday as he continues to rest his injured ankle.Coach Tom Coughlin said he expects to have his starting running back in practice Friday, although Bradshaw had said he was going to practice Thursday.“He is a little better,” Coughlin said. “I think we will get him tomorrow.”Bradshaw said Wednesday that his ankle injury wasn’t related to the one that required offseason surgery and that this new injury was not a concern. He said he planned on practicing Thursday but the team kept him out for another day.“Nothing changed,” Bradshaw said in the locker room.Bradshaw walked off the practice field with a football high and tight in his right arm as he continues to try and get accustomed to carrying the ball the way Tiki Barber used to in an effort to avoid fumbling. He was not the only one to not participate in practice. Starting center Shaun O’Hara (ankle/Achilles), linebacker Keith Bulluck (toe), cornerback Terrell Thomas (hamstring), defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka (neck) and Madison Hedgecock (hamstring) did not practice.Thomas is a new addition to the injury report.Kiwanuka, O’Hara and Bulluck likely are out for Sunday’s game at Houston.Center Adam Koets (knee) likely will start his third straight game in place of O’Hara. Koets, safety Kenny Phillips (knee) and defensive end Osi Umenyiora (knee) all returned and went through a limited practice after sitting out Wednesday’s practice.Linebacker Clint Sintim will replace Bulluck, who did not play last Sunday against Chicago.Coughlin said Umenyiora looked good after having swelling in his knee last week. Phillips is being cautious and has been taking things easy with his surgically repaired knee.Coughlin also said there is nothing new to report with O’Hara’s ankle condition and Kiwanuka’s bulging cervical disk in his neck."
