Getting Focused: The Giants After 5 Weeks

Pro Football Focus is a tremendous website filled with independent and unbiased analysis of every player, team, and trend in the NFL.  I’ve used their service for the past couple of years and they do just a great job over there.  So just to see where the Giants rank after 5 weeks of action, here’s a peak at some Giants related tid bits:

The Great

Hakeem Nicks is the #3 overall receiver in the NFL

Keith Bulluck was a force before he went out with turf toe, #3 overall LB

Kareem McKenzie rebounded the last couple of weeks and is now #3 overall.

Ahmad Bradshaw is #5 overall

The Good

TE Kevin Boss is #7 overall

LG Rich Seubert is #8 overall.

Chris Canty and Barry Cofield holding their own at #9 and #11 tackles in the league.  (Fred Robbins is #3 for St. Louis, btw)

Terrell Thomas, #9 overall Corner.

C-Webb is in at #13… not too shabby.

Eli is #14 overall.

Chris Snee is #16 — needs to watch those penalties.

DE’s Osi and Tuck at #16 and #17 respectively overall.

The Bad

Steve Smith is #33 in the league as receivers go.

Mario Manningham is #53 on the list

Adam Koets is #27 of 33

The Ugly

David Diehl – the second worst tackle in the league.

Madison Hedgecock – second worst FB as well…

But not to be outdone… Darius Reynaud is simply amazing.  Of 132 special teams players…. he is the WORST SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER IN THE NFL!
