"Despite getting a momentary vote of confidence from special teams coordinator Tom Quinn yesterday that his job was safe, giants PR/KR Darius Reynaud has apparently been relieved of his duties, as the team signed CB Will Blackmon today, according to his agent, Paul Lawrence.Blackmon has returned 47 punts for 515 yards with three touchdowns and four fumbles. He’s also returned 66 kickoffs for 1,393 yards, and no touchdowns."
"Blackmon, 6-0, 210 lbs., is a five-year veteran out of Boston College who is a former fourth round pick (115th overall) of the Green Bay Packers in the 2006 draft. He tore his ACL last October and appeared to be on his way toward a full recovery when he experienced a setback in the preseason this year which caused the Packers to waive him injured."
