Not that power rankings matter at Week 10, but it’s nice to see the “experts” are giving the Giants credit for their play up to this point. The Falcons are the only NFC team to top the Giants at #3. Yet, the Giants might have a good argument for why they should be sitting at the top spot in the NFC. They currently have the #1 ranked defense and #4 ranked offensive in the league, where the Falcons are ranked #19 and #8 respectively. The only thing keeping them from that top spot in the NFC would have to be their strength of schedule. The Falcons have had the tougher of the two schedules, playing three Top-10 teams, where the Giants have yet to play one. Unfortunately, the two teams aren’t scheduled for a regular season meeting, therefore wouldn’t play each other unless matched up in the playoffs. With 8 weeks left until the playoffs, we’ll just have to watch and let this one unfold.
