My team is the team on the left with some Giants representing. And I took the advice from the crowd earlier this week and started Mario Manningham. I think that is a good move.
So now here’s the thing – ESPN has this matchup projected as a PUSH overall, but their predictions hardly ever pan out. Otherwise I would be undefeated right now. And I’m not. But check out these matchups — am I crazy or do I have a legitimate shot at winning this game outright?
In simplified math terms I think I have the advantage. Here’s how:
• Eli will compete with Peyton this week for points. Dallas has no secondary, it’s been proven time and again. Call me crazy – but I think it’s a wash this week with the Mannings at QB. +- 0
• I think both my running backs will outscore the opposition. +2
• In the end, my receivers will do BETTER than the opposition — forget names, look at the defenses they’re playing. I think 2 out of 3 go to me. +1
• Tamme will likely outscore Moeaki. -1
• Giants Defense represent. +1
• And kicking might decide this one, just like a real close game. But for now it’s a wash. +- 0
That leaves me with an overall advantage of +3 the way I see it. ESPN says this one is a push. We’ll see come Monday morning….
Let me know in the comments if you agree or disagree with that assessment… but like I said earlier ESPN’s projections have been awful this year.
