Is there a chance that his ego/antics, request for a new contract, etc are going to be a distraction for the Eagles?

Jen: Distractions are always a possibility when a player chooses to talk about their contract during the season. If Jackson does not feel he is receiving the kind of attention to his demands he thinks he deserves, this could be a problem in the locker room and effect his mindset on the field.

Sam: I have a feeling that if our fans can get loud enough to cause confusion it might cause them to get frustrated with each other

David: Not at all. It is a young team, he is apparently very popular and Reid simply does not allow his team tog et distracted.

Sean: They will be next year. There won’t be much talk about it now. There’s too much at stake and I think the entire organization knows what to expect. I hear that Vick wants to own a dog now. Maybe if the Eagles organization can pull a few strings, overturn the court ruling and get him a dog he might stay because Vick is all heart. Not.

The Giants defense really are the QB killers.  I think they’re up to 7 QBs they’ve knocked out now — is Vick going to be in trouble this weekend?

Jen: Every QB is in danger against the Giants, but Vick, as I said earlier, leaves himself open to injury more often than anyone else in this position. Again, it would be in his best interest to rely on his arm, his running backs, and the slide if he does decide to run.

Sam: I sure hope so. Hes a tough cat though. all I can ask for is to hit him and hit him until he waves the white flag, the clock reads triple zeros and we win.

David:  I certainly hope so however I expect quick (3 step) passes, counters, and rollouts mitigating some of the Giants’ rush.

Sean: Vick is definitely in trouble and he knows it. Favre would have been #8 and I am sure if the Vikings were going to play anyone else but the Giants last week that he would have played. There are too many weapons on the Big Blue defense to be able to stop them all. Focus on Osi and Tuck will get you. Focus on Osi/Tuck and Cofield will get you. JPP is probably itching for his next few sacks. This is one of the best Giants defenses that I have seen. Vick is going to know what the new stadium’s turf tsetse like. He’ll probably get to text out one of our new X-ray machines too.

Who is the #1 threat to the Eagle defense in your opinion?

Jen: The one-two punch of Jacobs and Bradshaw have been tormenting defenses of late, and I expect they will attempt to do the same against the Eagles. They know how to tackle Jacobs, but that won’t stop him from stepping all over guys in the process.

Sam: If we neutralize Trent Cole like he did last time then its Asante Samuels who just loves to pick off Eli, he has to be up there with Darren Sharper

David: An ailing Asante Samuel, long passes as well as a ferocious off-guard (middle) running attack. Giants need to challenge the defense and not be content to run left, run right and on third and 7 a waggle pass for 4.

Sean: While most would think Asante Samuel, I would have to say Trent Cole. He has 9.0 sacks for the year. He’s a beast. With Bradley out, I would say Mikell/Samuel come in at a close second.
