Tiki Barber: Jacobs Stays, Bradshaw Goes
By author

According to Tiki Barber, Ahmad Bradshaw deserves to be paid in accordance with his production over the last few years. However, Brandon Jacobs is too unique of a player for the Giants to cut ties with. So Bradshaw is probably going to end up elsewhere in 2011.
Via WSJ:
"“Ahmad deserves a contract that is representative of his talent and his production over the last couple of years and I just don’t see how the Giants can pay both of them. I don’t see how any team can pay both of them. I think they stick with Brandon because he’s such a unique player, and he actually played really well at the end of last year. I think he just needs a complementary guy.”"
Here’s my take — everyone that reads this blog knows I love Ahmad Bradshaw… and have waited for the day when he would start over Brandon Jacobs and that the Giants would be that much more productive out of the backfield because of it. Regardless of the fumbles, I believe Ahmad Bradshaw proved that he is the more versatile back that can do the most within the Giants offense right now. In fact, I would argue that Tiki has it twisted. BJ is the compliment, not Bradshaw.
