Ryan Williams met with Giants at Combine

It’s been a slow news month “we’re going to lock you out, you make too much money”

“show us your books”

“Dont worry fans, there will still be football”

John Mara: “No Giants fan has to pay anything until this is resovled” <— Well this one is mostly true.

But what is coming out now is information about some players the Giants have shown an interest in either during combine or with official visits.

Add one more to this list: this one is Ryan Williams RB of Virginia Tech. A player I like a lot as a first round talent, who will be drafted in round two or three. He’s a player I would have loved the Giants to get, and I think their interest is genuine.

He can catch the football, has good size and good vision. It seems now though that the Giants are likely to keep Jacobs and Bradshaw so Running may not be an option early in the draft, which pretty much rules Williams out.

So far players who Giants have shown interest in:

OL Mike Pouncey, Florida

DE Justin Houston, Georgia

RB Ryan Williams, VA Tech

DT Corey Liuget, LB Martez Wilson, (Perry Fewell attended their pr0-days).

I’ll have something on all of these players. As well as Casey Matthews (per reader request).

If you have any other requests let me know and we’ll get something up for them.

One of the writers for NFL:mocks is writing up a scouting report for Anthony Castanzo this week, a player that is mocked to the Giatns in pretty much every mock out there. I’ll let you know when that’s up.

Only Houston is a known official visit that is coming to New York.
