ProFootballWeekly reminds us yet again that Florida’s Mike Pouncey would make the most sense for the Giants first round pick, on a need-based decision basis anyway:
"The draft-eligible Pouncey not only has good genetics but also improved as the season went on and could play any of the three interior positions. Those are pressing needs with Shaun O’Hara, Rich Seubert and Adam Koets all having undergone surgeries this offseason and their long-term health in question."
Based on that paragraph right there, I’m sold. Need it be even brought to light that he’s the younger brother of the Steelers C Maurkice Pouncey who went to the Pro Bowl last year? As a rookie? No… it’s not like the Giants have a track record of doing such things anyway… right?
