Here it is, Friday again… time for some good old fashioned video.
This week I posted about the NY Giants WR depth chart, and while there may be some surprises on the list there is one guy who clearly has the #1 spot locked down: Hakeem Nicks. As a rookie, Nicks shined as the playmaker we all hoped he would be, although there were some growing pains involved, in the form of dropped passes.
Now I know this is a clip from 2009 – but it’s one of my all time favorite NY Giants video clips for several reasons. One, redemption. Two, a fantastic catch and run for a TD. Three, it came against the Eagles in one of the best games from that season. So without further delay, here is that amazing clip of Hakeem Nicks’ rookie season – snatching the football out of the air and laying down a sick spin move to take it to the zone for a score on the Philadelphia Eagles.
Honestly…. Does it get any better?
