Your New York Giants Starting Offensive Line

Multiple sources have confirmed that the NY Giants have given notice to David Diehl that he’ll be moving back to starting LG to replace Rich Seubert. Diehl has come under scrutiny the last couple of seasons for not being agile enough to defend the quickest DE’s in the league — a fact driven solidly home by the Colts’ DE Dwight Freeney and DE Robert Mathis. He is a more natural Guard anyway – and when he filled in there last year the Giants boasted a very formidable front that didn’t give up a sack for almost half the season. In short — this is going news.

That means William Beatty is going to be the new starting Left Tackle for the NY Giants.

With Shaun O’Hara out at Center as well — the new starting offensive line will look something like this:

LT – Will Beatty
LG – David Diehl
C – David Baas
RG – Chris Snee
RT – Kareem McKenzie
