Multiple reports are surfacing this morning that the services of soon to be former Giants DE Osi Umenyiora are now going for a 2nd Round Pick. I would think that this peaks any one of the 5 teams interest that were mentioned yesterday. But the Baltimore Ravens have been rumored to have offered a 3rd round pick for Umenyiora. If the Giants continue to play hardball on their dealings this offseason, I can’t imaging them letting Umenyiora go for that little.
Am I way off base there? Is Osi really only worth a 3rd round pick and a savings of $7 million over the next 2 years?
