According to reports, the Dallas Cowboys defense under new coordinator Rob Ryan got shredded by Tony Romo’s offense in a scrimmage this weekend.
Ryan said of the performance:
"“We don’t like giving up points,” Ryan said, according to Charean Williams of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “Sometimes it happens. That is the way it is. But put it on me. I dusted off a couple of calls we hadn’t worked on. Put it me its my fault. The players will be fine.”"
Tony Romo threw for 150 yards and 3 TD’s — he was rumored to have faced no pressure and his passes were uncontested in the red zone. Apparently that Dallas secondary isn’t getting any better with age. Go figure…
