Jason Pierre-Paul An All-Pro

The Associated Press 2011 NFL All-Pro Team was announced today and the lone member of the New York Giants to make the squad is DE Jason Pierre-Paul, who received 34 out of a total 50 votes. Compare those 34 votes to the 49 out of 50 that top vote getter Jared Allen of the Vikings got and you might see who is in the lead for the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year. Allen and Lions worldly WR Calvin Johnson tied for the most votes received. Other Giants getting votes were OG Chris Snee, with 2 out of 50 votes, and WR Victor Cruz, who got 9 out of 50 votes.
