Mel Kipers Becoming Irrelevant

With the new Collective Bargaining Agreement and Rookie Pay Scale, the Mel Kipers, Todd McShay and the rest of the Mock Draft “gurus” are becoming irrelevant. This year in the First Round there were 9 Trades. Nine trades in the First Round? When did you think you would ever hear that? NFL teams are no longer concerned about whether they can pay for a high pick with the new Rookie Pay Scale. Not anymore can these Mock Draft experts predict when a player will go, or to what team with any effectiveness. They can always rate the best players but even with that NFL GMs generally disagree from the mid First Rounds to the Mr. Irrelevant pick. So Mel you had a good run, but I think within 2 years you and the rest with the Mock Draft “experts” will become the new dinosaurs of the every changing NFL.
