2013 NFL Draft: With the 19th Pick the Giants Select…
By Joe Tufaro

In the latest edition of the FanSided NFL Mock Draft the Giants are projected as follows:
19. New York Giants – Ezekial Ansah, Defensive End, BYU
Ansah is case of a no-name player (to the greater NFL viewing public) that has launched himself into first round consideration, and for good reason too. Ansah has lined up at nose tackle, five-technique DE and outside linebacker in BYU’s 3-4 scheme, and versatility is something the Giants love on defense. Scouts have said he has a rare combination of size, speed and natural athleticism are evident. He’s a lightning quick edge rusher, but can fit about anywhere the Giants ask him to play.
While I have been touting that the Giants should and would look offensive line, or linebacker in this years draft, this option is not entirely crazy because of the young mans versatility. The Giants don’t have a true nose tackle position, but have been searching for a good inside run stopper. They could use him at linebacker in certain situations, and of course he could be added to the pass rush package also. Look for this name during the combine, and lets see just how athletic he is.
