Giants Corey Webster Takes Pay Cut

The Giants methodical and patient off season continued to churn along today with Corner back Corey Webster agreeing to a pay cut for 2013.  His salary will go from 7.25 million to 4 million according to Kim Jones of NFL Network.

Webster had a terrible year at corner in 2012 and had to know this was coming…Im sure he and his family can survive with just 4 million coming in, that’s just $250,000 a week…time for the family budget meeting!

This is another step by an organization that knows what it will tolerate paying for each position…and not letting anyone get too comfortable. Perhaps the hunger will return.
