Cowboys Guarantee Giants Success for 6 More Years

The lost franchise in Dallas today extended the contract of QB Tony Romo for 6 more years at 108 million dollars with 55 million guaranteed.  Thanks Dallas!  Here is QB that has underachieved from day one, and seems to never learn from his mistakes.  A QB that had a chance to win the NFC East in the final game of the season the past two years and failed.  A QB that has won one playoff game in his career of 11 years.  A QB that decided to go on vacation during the bye week in 2007 after winning the division instead of preparing to play the Giants.  A qb of a team that has lost every home game it has played in it’s new building against it’s biggest rival.

Romo has never been comfortable with trusting his running game and it has led to some great fantasy performances, but only because the flawed fantasy scoring that doesn’t subtract more points for turnovers and points against the offense.  Tony has been durable playing 16 games in 6 of his years as a starter.  He has 121 turnovers vs 177 TD’s.

The question always is asked if you had one choice of a Qb to win one game who would it be? Rodgers, Eli, Brady, Peyton……the answer is debatable except for one common thread….it is never Tony Romo.
