Former Giants LB Kyle Bosworth to Cowboys

facebooktwitterreddit

The Dallas Cowboys, the Giants week one opponent, have claimed LB Kyle Bosworth off the waiver wire.  It is unclear whether the Giants thought he would clear waivers and be eligible for the practice squad, but it doesn’t matter now.  Dallas would exploit the young man for all the information he might have on the Giants offense and defense, including signals and calls made on the field.  Kyle, the nephew of “The Boz”, is not an every down LBer, and although a good special teams player, he was not projected as a starter.  As a matter of fact if you look at the Cowboys depth chart he will be the 10th LB on the team.  Looks to me as if this is a ploy played by the Cowboys to short change the Giants on a player they may have wanted to have hang around the team, and to help them gather some information on a team they can’t beat in their own building.

Stay tuned for more practice squad and waiver wire news as it becomes available.
