Giants: No Surprises on Early Injury Report
By Joe Tufaro

The following players will appear on the Giants injury report later today according to Giants.com
Prince Amukamara (Concussion)
David Baas (Knee)
Dan Connor (Neck)
David Diehl (Thumb)
Damontre Moore (Shoulder)
Adrien Robinson (Foot)
The good news here is that there is no news. We all saw The Prince take the hit from his teammate Sunday night and knew he would have to pass all the concussion tests before returning to full practice. We also saw Dan Connor go out and not return after the middle of the 2nd quarter. This was one of the injuries Jerry Jones pointed to when saying the Giants were faking to slow down the Dallas offense. (You know that offense that gained half the yardage the Giants did and was responsible for a total of 19 points) I hope the Giants take a page from Belichick’s book and list Connor as injured for the remainder of the season and send a copy to the Cowboys. Baas and Diehl are still out as expected along with Te Adrien Robinson, whom Coughlin had stated would “Be a while”.
That brings us to Moore….Hopefully this kid can get healthy and start to participate in practice. He can be a force on Special Teams and in the pass rush if he could get to a point where they allow him to practice. Damontre might be the next JPP, and could be a big player in the second half of the season for Big Blue. Time will tell though as no practice time means no playing time for now.
Check back later and throughout the week as we update the Giants injury situation, but thankfully for now the list is short.
