New York Giants @ Kansas City Chiefs
My beloved Giants are 0-3 and the Chefs Chiefs are 3-0. If the Giants were going to get off the schnied anytime soon last week’s game against Carolina was it. Unfortunately, the Giants will continue to lose while Kevin Gilbride is the offensive coordinator and the Humpty Dumpty-like offensive line continues to crack. Coach Coughlin’s affection for long-time Giants offensive linemen Chris Snee and David Diehl has put the 2013 season in severe jeopardy. These two probably should have been replaced last year and most definitely should have been replaced this year. General Manager Jerry Reese was smart to pickup offensive lineman Justin Pugh, Syracuse, in the first round of the draft this year but he is still very green. The Giants did pick up OG Eric Herman, Ohio, in round seven of the draft but he didn’t make the regular season roster. The Giants really should have started rebuilding the offensive line in the 2012 preseason.

The Chiefs look great and it is nice to see Andy Reid and Alex Smith getting the respect they deserve. The fans in KC finally have something to cheer about and they’ve been waiting a long time for it. Chiefs win.
