Neither team has much of an offense but both teams have some recent developments on offense. Last week, in the second half of their game against Chicago, it seemed that the Steelers offense finally started to gel and for the first time this season they moved the ball with consistency. In Minnesota, QB Matt Cassel was promoted to starting QB after the Vikings suffered their third loss in a row with Christian Ponder as starting QB. Steelers win. This is all interesting but the difference maker in this game will be the Steelers defense which is ranked fifth in the NFL. The Minnesota defense is ranked 28th. Steelers win.
