Giants vs Bears: GMEN HQ Staff Predictions

Mandatory Credit: Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY SportsThe New York Giants will be making a trip to Chicago tomorrow to play the Bears on this week’s Thursday night game. Am I the only one who finds these Thursday games to be slightly annoying? Anyway, before I regress too much, it’s an early week version of the GMENHQ Staff Predictons!
First, here is a look at the answers to last week’s questions:
1. Will David Wilson get over 15 carries? No (6)
2. Over/Under 2.5 sacks for the Giants? Under, again, which is pathetic. (1)
3. Will the Giants have their first scoring drive over 10+ plays on the season? No, they didn’t even have any drive over 10 plays.
4. Over/Under 850 yards total offense for both teams combined? Under (822 total yards)
5. Who will have more turnovers Michael Vick or Eli Manning? Eli with three interceptions.
6. Will the Giants FINALLY break through and get a win this year, or do they force all of their fans to drown themselves in alcohol for a 5th consecutive week? Nope, the Giants are still awful. Eagles 36, Giants 21.
Bonus Question: To many Eli Manning faces to even count in this one.
And here is the leaderboard through five weeks:
1 T Kaz – 12 + 3 = 15
2 Ricky – 13 + 1 = 14
3 Me – 9 + 3 = 12
4 Josh – 10 + 1 = 11
5 JT – 8 + 1 = 9
6 Cousin Matt – 6 + 2 = 8
9 (T) Adam – 4 + 2 = 6
9 (T) Tom – 3 + 3 = 6
9 (T) James F – 6
Congratulations to T Kaz as he had a strong week and moved into first place, unseating Ricky who had dominated to this point. I also continued my climb upwards after an early season swoon. Overall, it was a rough week across the board as I believe many of us were too optimistic in a woeful Giants team.
Here are this week’s questions:
1. Over/Under 60 yards rushing for the Giants?
2. Over/under 4 receptions + a TD for the Black Unicorn?
3. Will Eli Manning be able to get through an entire game without throwing an interception against the ball-hawking Chicago defense?
4. Who will lead the Giants in receptions?
5. Will the Giants defense have more than two sacks?
6. Do the Giants have any chance at going into Chicago and getting their first victory on a short week? (Final Score)
Bonus Question: Will the black unicorn steal Paul Dottino’s potato chips again (for those who watch the Giants post game)
