Michael Vick to Start vs. Giants

According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Michael Vick is set to start Sunday’s game at home versus the Giants. Vick has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury he suffered against the Giants on October 6, and backup Nick Foles was forced to leave last week’s game against the Cowboys with a concussion. If Vick wasn’t ready to suit up, the Eagles would have had to start rookie Matt Barkley against New York, who would have been the second straight QB the Giants faced who was making his first start with the team. No such luck, however, as the Giants will have to contain Vick in order to improve to 2-6 on the year.
