Mandatory Credit: Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY SportsShockingly, the Giants are coming out of their bye week on a two game winning streak.  Somehow, someway, they are still in the thick of the NFC (L)East division race, but don’t hold your breath.  The Giants are welcoming in a Oakland Raiders squad that just got embarrassed, at home, to the Eagles 49-20.  Everything is pointing towards a third straight Giants win as they come out of their bye week healthier than they have been in a while, then again, this is exactly the sort of trap game the Giants have been notorious for falling prey to over the years, especially at home.

With all of that in mind, here’s a look at this week’s GMEN HQ Staff Predictions, and don’t forget to post your answers to the questions in the comments below!

Before getting to this week’s questions, here is a look at the answers to the Giants vs Eagles II predictions:

1. Will Eli Manning be able to go two straight weeks with no turnovers? Shockingly, yes!
2. Will Michael Vick play the whole game or will the Giants defense knock him out? Nope, left due to injury.
3. Over/under 2.5 sacks for the GMEN? Over (4)
4. Who will lead the Giants in receptions? Victor Cruzzzzzzzzzz and Hakeem Nicks (7 each)
5. Will Hakeem Nicks be able to go a whole game without a drop? Yes
6. Will the GMEN make it two straight heading into their bye week?(Final Score) Yes, Giants 15, Eagles 7

And here’s a quick recap of how the leaderboard is shaking out halfway through the season:

1 T Kaz – 24 + 4 = 28
2 Ricky – 18 + 4 = 22
3 Me – 19 + 2 = 21
4 JT – 16 + 3 = 19
6 (T) Cousin Matt – 15
6 (T) Josh – 15
8 (T) Adam – 10 + 3 = 13
8 (T) James F – 11 + 2 = 13
9 Tom – 8

T Kaz continues to pull away as he has a knack for picking the right answers. Heck, I might start asking him to pick some games for me every week. Ricky overtook me for 2nd and Adam continues to push upwards despite joining in late into the season.

Now, without further ado, here are this week’s questions:

1. Over/Under 1.5 turnovers by the Giants?
2. Considering Foles threw for 7 touchdowns last week against the Raiders, Over/Under 3.5 TD passes for Eli?
3. Who will lead the Giants in carries?
4. Over/Under 100 receiving yards for Hakeem Nicks?
5. Over/Under 85 rushing yards for the Raiders?
6. Will the GMEN start off the second half of the season with a victory and give a late season playoff push a glimmer of hope?(Final Score)

6. No, this is exactly the type of game the Giants lose at least one of every season. Also, how many times do you see a team get absolutely crushed one week and then comeback with a better performance the next week (think the Jets two weeks ago against Cincinnati and then last week against the Saints). Raiders 28, Giants 27
