Game Updates

New York Giants Uniform Change

This Sunday, the New York Giants will wear their alternate white game pants, instead of the traditional gray, against the Dallas Cowboys. The white pants have a red stripe bordered by gray and blue lines on the outside. The team wore the white pants in their victory earlier this season against the Oakland Raiders for the first time since 1999, the final season they had “GIANTS” on their helmets and all-white road uniforms. The following year, the Giants began wearing uniforms that featured the “NY” on the helmets and gray pants.

In-Game Entertainment

National Anthem

Jonathan Batiste will perform the National Anthem prior to Sunday’s game.

With his unique voice, virtuosic piano chops and dapper sense of style, Jon Batiste transcends music genres with his modern take on American music, reviving the roots of jazz and blues yet playing it in a way that is fresh, accessible and engaging.  Born in New Orleans and a descendant of New Orleans’ musical “royalty” whose deep musical heritage is part of the inspiration for the HBO Series Treme and in which Batiste has appeared, he attended the prestigious New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA), moved to New York to attend Julliard where he received a Masters degree in Music.  Jon was named “30 Under 30” most influential people in the art world (Art Info), he currently serves as the Artistic Director at Large of the National Jazz Museum in Harlem.  His new album Social Music is out now and he continues his national tour in January.

Pre-Game Events

Giants to Host 18th Annual Coat Drive

With the cold weather arriving, the New York Giants designate one game each season to conduct a collection of warm coats for those in need. This Sunday, fans are encouraged to bring their gently worn coats to any of the FedEx trucks located at each stadium entrance. All coats collected during the drive will be donated to New York Cares, a non-profit organization that meets pressing community needs by mobilizing caring New Yorkers in volunteer service. The coats will be distributed to those in need across the metropolitan area.

Alumni Meet and Greet

Don’t miss your chance to meet New York Giants alum Bill Ard at the game!  He will sign autographs starting at 3:10 PM and concluding at 4:10 PM on the 300 level concourse by section 315.

An eighth round draft pick in 1981 out of Wake Forest by the New York Giants, Ard earned a starting position at left guard his rookie year and made the NFL All-Rookie team. Ard played for the Giants from 1981-1988 and was a member of the 1987 Super Bowl Championship team. Ard is also a member of the New York Giants All-Century Team.
