NFL Week 14: 4-Pack of Picks

Panthers @ Saints -3 — O/U 46

The NFL saves the best for last on Sunday night. Watching the Saints play what was the worst game of the year for them — besides losing to the Jets a few weeks ago — was hard to stomach. Are the Seahawks just that good or is Rob Ryan’s defense a paper tiger? Yeah, Seattle is a tough place to play, but only seven points? On the other hand, the Panthers are the most physical team in the league this year. They have won eight straight games, including the 49ers and Patriots along the way… Somehow I still see the Saints having the edge here at home. The Panthers winning streak will end this week in the Big Easy. The Saints get the Panthers to play an up tempo game and that will be their defining edge. Ron Rivera isn’t quite the coach that Payton is, yet. Prediction: I’m going to play the over in this game 46 in a high scoring affair. I will also tease the Saints to +3 and play the over 40.
