Texans @ Colts -5.5 — O/U 45.5

The Colts haven’t been the same team since Reggie Wayne went down. The reason being teams can dictate where the Colts throw the ball, and they’ve been forcing the Colts to throw towards Darrius Heyward Bey. Teams have simply taken away TY Hilton and forced the Colts hand — and unfortunately, Heyward Bey doesn’t have any hands! The Colts unveiled a new receiver last week vs. the Bengals, as #16 Da’Rick Rogers made some key plays after the catch may well help the Colts moving forward toward the playoffs. Andrew Luck has never lost back to back games, and they are at home where they have beaten some very good teams this season.

The Texans have pride to play for, and must assume the spoiler role. They are in flux after firing Gary Kubiak, exacerbated by having lost 11 straight… I don’t see that streak ending here, but the Texans keep it close. The Colts have gone over the total in six of their last seven games, and the Texans have been over the number in five of six. I’m going to play the under 45.5 bucking the trend. I will also play another tease here. I’ll tease the Texans to +11.5 and take the total to 51.5.

Good luck!
