Flashback: 4 plays that haunted the Giants season
By Adam Ganeles
Play #4 | Week 12 versus Dallas | Get off the field!
The Giants were carrying all the momentum in the world, scoring 15 unanswered points to knot a must-win game at 21 apiece. 3rd and 7 for Dallas at their own 23-yard line… 3:56 remaining. One stop high here goes a long way in obtaining retribution for ALL the early season blunders and lifeless efforts. A three and out would give a grooving Giants offense a distinct advantage over a reeling and fatigued Cowboy defensive unit. But there was no stop to be had. Tony Romo completed a 19-yard back shoulder pass to Dez Bryant, soon to be followed by two more third-down conversions. Clock milked. Kick good. Season over.
