Colts @ Patriots -7 — O/U 51

We may be watching the best QB to ever suit up in this one. I don’t mean Tom Brady either. What Andrew Luck has done in two years is simply amazing. Some people think that tom Brady should be included in the MVP race with Peyton Manning, but what Luck has done, in my opinion, is off the charts! Look at the teams he’s beaten this year and it’s really uncanny. Russell Wilson, Peyton Manning, Colin Kaepernick, Alex Smith two times and (perhaps) Tom Brady all could fall to him this year.

The comeback last week was part of a legend in the making. The play that really comes to mind last week was when Donald Brown fumbled at the goal line and instead of simply falling on it like mere mortal quarterbacks, Luck scoops it up and dives for a TD that left all of America wondering what they just witnessed.

I’m a big Tom Brady fan too of course. It’s hard to argue with success, and he and Belichick have had plenty of that. Many claim this is Bill’s best coaching job ever — that includes the undefeated season. The list of accolades is lengthy and I’ll refrain.

The last time Luck faced the Patriots he was blown up! Luck has matured since that week last year when the Patriots beat the Colts to the tune of 59-24. The Patriot team is flawed this year, and will miss the LB Brandon Spikes here. They have several more injuries that will hurt them this weekend as well. I’ll play the Colts +7 with a big shot to win out right. Both defenses are sketchy so I’d lean toward the over 52.
