Divisional Playoffs: Picks Against the Spread

Chargers @ Broncos -9.5 — O/U 54.5

I had this game a few weeks ago and gave you the upset and a large chunk of cash on the money line play. San Diego played this team very well both time this season. I’d expect that trend to continue for about three quarters here… then talent and depth prevails. The Chargers season will end here and I believe that Denver will cover the 9.5. The Chargers would have to hold the Broncos offense in check for another four quarters. That’s something that I just don’t see happening!

The Broncos come of a bye week. The same situation played out the first time these two met, and the Chargers scored two touchdowns to make the score closer than it really was. I’ll lay the points and play Denver -9.5. The over is also something I’ll attempt, over 54.5.
