On Sunday,  August 3rd, the New York Giants will begin their preseason schedule at the Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio. The Giants will take the field against the Buffalo Bills in this festive, annual game.

The Hall of Fame game is one of the biggest events of the year because it signals the end of the dreaded offseason. Football fans can get back to watching their favorite teams play week in and week out.

"The Pro Football Hall of Fame Game is an annual National Football League exhibition game that is held the weekend of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s induction ceremonies. The game is played at Fawcett Stadium, which is located next door to the Hall of Fame building in Canton, Ohio. It is traditionally the first game in the NFL’s preseason, marking the end of the NFL’s six-month off-season."

This is going to be the Giants fourth trip to Canton and their first since 2002. The Bills, however, just played in the Hall of Fame game in 2009 to celebrate their 50th anniversary as a member of the original eight franchises. The Giants will also be there to celebrate franchise sack leader Michael Strahan’s induction into the hall.

The season seal was broken by the division rival Dallas Cowboys and the Miami Dolphins in 2013.
