Reporting information from a league source, Pro Football Talk believes free agent Justin Tuck is leaning towards a return to the Giants. While the top defensive ends on the market have received deals in the $7-$8 million range, apparently Tuck’s most rewarding offer has been $3 million per year.

Tuck’s agent has been delusional throughout the process, proclaiming his client the most “complete” DE on the market. Soon to be 31 years of age, the career-long Giant hasn’t proven he can remain productive & healthy for a full 16-game schedule since 2010.

When operating at full capacity, Tuck can still be a potent pass rusher — as buttressed by his four sacks in 10 minutes of game action against Washington. But for the most part, getting after the quarterback is no longer his forte.  He’s a disciplined run stopper off the edge.
