Mychal Rivera, TE, Oakland Raiders

Two things could hold back Rivera in 2014: further inconsistency at the quarterback position and too much competition at his own position. He’s not the fastest tight end in the world, but Rivera was productive as a rookie in 2013 (38 receptions with four touchdowns), despite actually only starting three games. Despite not being a burner, he’s still quite athletic and has displayed good ball skills and a good presence in the red-zone. Improved quarterback play and another year on the job could help form him into a sneaky tight end sleeper this season.

*Cordarrelle Patterson, Kenny Stills, Rashad Jennings, Jeremy Maclin, Golden Tate and Ben Tate are just a few other potential fantasy sleepers for 2014, but are left off this list due to already being widely hyped or having already produced at a high level in the past*
