RB Andre Brown Signs With Texans

According to an ESPN report, former Giants’ running back Andre Brown has signed a 1-year deal to join the Houston Texans.
Brown’s meandering NFL journey saw him rejoin the Giants in 2012 after being drafted by the team three years earlier. He showed flashes of talent but had trouble staying on the field, missing 6 games in 2012 and 8 in 2013. His return from a leg injury last year provided the Giants with much needed depth in the wake of David Wilson being placed on IR.
The signing of Rashad Jennings from the Oakland Raiders this offseason made Brown expendable.
