Giants Free Agency Round-Up: Offense

Quarterback: QB Curtis Painter (re-signed), QB Josh Freeman
The one area that’s of major question is the quarterback position considering the recent ankle surgery to Eli Manning and the curious moves the Giants have made regarding who’s behind him.
Signing Painter and now adding Freeman suggests the team brass does not feel completely comfortable with Ryan Nassib as the sole back up. Adding an additional one is meant to bring a competitor in for Painter or keep three on the roster. Ultimately, the Giants continue the trend of adding competition to a variety of positions and the roster spots behind Eli remain a question mark until late August.
