Felix’s Take: Jim Caldwell is an offensive mind, and there have been many rumors that they’ll want to trade up for Sammy Watkins or select Eric Ebron, but the Lions have too many defensive needs to focus on offense in round 1. Dennard is one of the most well prepared corners in the draft. Physically, he is a prototype — strong and works well in man coverage. His technique is ideal and refined and adding an immediate starter on the back end of a strong front seven would go a long way to pushing this Lions team to the playoffs.
